This week on New Day Café, we’re expanding our knowledge of heroes and heroines of the bible. We have heard the usual stories of David, Samson and Gideon, but what about the often unmentioned heroes of the bible whose good deeds and acts of faith typically go unrecognized? Join us as we explore ‘Unsung Heroes of the Bible’ and see what we can learn from their stories. Monday is also Veteran’s Day and we will take the time to acknowledge our local and national heroes for their service to God and to our country. Our table discussions for the week include Matt Scott of the Gathering Place on Nehemiah, Dr. Frank Minirth talks with Don Hawkins about Hezekiah, and in recognition of Veteran’s Day, Major General William Freeman joins us to talk about Veteran’s Sacrifices.
